Well, its been two long years since I've owned my own bike - no longer ladies and gents, I have my dose of addrenalin again, and fook me its a big dose!

I've been scouring ye olde ebay just to see what prices etc are like, when this beauty caught my eye (I never thought I'd get an un-faired bike!):

Sufice to say I'm stoked!!!

Wow, that rocks! I love the colour, reminds me of a Renault.

You must be pleased with it.

You're going to have a blast Ben. Don't forget to dress appropriately.

Yes, wear a Valentino Rosi supporter's shirt.

Nice bike Ben!, it's almost Rizla Blue!

1200cc !! that should kick ... accelerating!!

.... Ben that`s hot! It looks like it`s worth a fortune. When you`re going from zero to 500 in less than 2 seconds on that thing think of those of us who are sentinced to a year of horsepowerless mountain biking

The Bandit 1200 is no doubt a great bike with a solid engine.

Dig the colour scheme Ben.

Since it's a 600 frame do u get 600cc insurance? If the 6's wheelbase is shorter you better hold on. I love it when you can see the engine!!! I wish you many miles or Km's of smiles!!!!

I wouldn`t think so. Unfortunately Insurance companies aren`t that dumb. I think Ben`s cheaper than expected insurance would be because apart from the fact that it`s beutifully done up with great paint and trick looking bits, it`s still a 1200 Bandit with a 600 frame at heart. Those two motorcycles aren`t exactly as rare as Bimotas, so parts wouldn`t be as horribe as an exotic of the same value

As Richo said unfortunatley not! Its a 1200 on the paperwork.

Re: Insurance, l have gathered up 2 years no claims bonus (2002-2004), but this was 2 years old in February - most companies wont accept NCB after 2 years, but norwich union takes it for 3 years after the last policy - so I was a very happy bunny! I'm now points free (touch wood) - and long may it stay that way!

The bike is a blast though, been on it this week and going to the girlfriends parents tomorrow after work, so thats a 140 mile blast through the lake district (really good - twisty country roads!) Wooooo

very nice bike...it looks like a bike that Gary Rothwell used to use for stunts.

Very nice...congrats...Ride safe
