Chaz to race again.

Chaz Davies will be racing at the British round at Donington after being offered a ride with the Arie Molenaar Honda 250 squad.

This is down to Arnaud Vincent suffering 4 broken ribs in the GP at Mugello, and Chaz will simply be a replacement.

Chaz exclaimed that he is a bit surprised to be racing at Donington, and thanks the team for letting him race his home GP.


Im not surprised its all about getting a Brit represented in each class....

good for him. he needs to keep his name out there. & it'll keep him sharp. to much sit'n round's no good.

Hopefully we will also have Linny flying the flag in 250s

Best of luck to Chaz. In his Crash column he doesn't appear to be too thrilled to be ridng a Honda though. Hope all goes well for him.

What happened to his Aprilia ride? Wasn`t he set to get factory support? Or was that West? I`m confused

I don't know for sure so Wes correct me if I'm wrong. But from what I understand, Chaz had a factory supported Aprilia ride set up that fell through at the last minute. Then he signed for a severely underfunded private Aprilia team. When funds got too low, Chaz was replaced with Franco Battaini who brought additional sponsors and funds to the team. Chaz has missed the last two rounds I believe?
