hope colin is ok

Dang, and what a time in the season to do that. -2 from grid.

15 bikes on the grid this weekend. Fun times. Stoner looks like he's on cruise control and he's got nearly 1 second on title leader Lorenzo.

Wake me up in 2012.

15-20-25, does it really matter. Do you really have fun NOT seeing anything from 5th on back on your tv. The championship is at the front, focus there and everything will be all right. People lamenting about small grids, yet when was the last thread where Bautista, Capirossi,Abraham etc: were discussed ad nauseam for 3 weeks between races. It appears the only reason we miss them is because they are not there. Losing Dani was big.Even though i really like Edwards, losing him for 3-4 races is not going to affect the big picture except he wont be around to possibly take a point or 2 from Rossi.

My gripe with the small grids is that it's no longer a fight for points. If you award to 15th and there are only 15 out there, all they have to do is finish and you're guaranteed at least a point. I'm not saying the battle for 11th or 12th is the most important thing, but it would be nice to have a little deeper field so guys actually had to earn those points like they used to.

Yes, I do prefer to watch Colin Edwards b/c he is a Texan. The small grid and the arcane tire performance characteristics mean that very few riders are qualified jump into MotoGP when a rider goes down.

It is also a bit disappointing that everyone who makes the distance requirement will receive championship points.

I predict Rossi will look like a chump once more. Stoner's Q times on the Ducati range from a 1:41.1 to a 1:42.4 at Catalunya and Rossi is over two seconds off that.

Yet more proof of the stupidity of the 800cc safety formula. Even a wily veteran like colin edwards not known for crashing has injured himself.

. 1 crash in 9 years for him harldy makes it the 800's fault considering hes been riding on an 800 for 5 years. and add to the fact it was on his outlap that it occured, then cleary it had nothing to do with wether it was an 800, 500 or 1000.... moreso that cold tires and prob went on a damp/dry area and highsided...

As I haven't won a race in 9 years either maybe I can get a ride with tech3 for the next few rounds while Colin is out?
