Catalunya 2007 was such a great race which I feel has been forgotten about in many of the debates over the past couple of years. Debates about the quality of racing in the 800cc era. Debates about how good Stoner is. Debates about Stoner being to scared to race Rossi and about weak minds or psychology. Of course Laguna 08 is always used as an example to support this debate from one side of the fan base.

Personally I feel that Catalunya 07 was one of the greatest races in the 800cc era as it went down to the last lap. There was 3 riders in it although one of them was just the camera bike! There was multiple over takes for the lead sometimes 2 in the same corner and there was also some extremely tough moves laid down especially at the end of the front straight under brakes. In the end it was clean and hard.

Check it out and re-live one of the greatest 800cc races.
