Did anyone see how slow the Ducati was going through the turn onto the straight in china?
well mabe it's my rossi tinted glasses, but i cant help but notice how much ground rossi catches up on stoner in most of the corners only to be blitzed on the straights,
one train of thought would be casey doesnt need to push hard in the corners because of the ducatis power advantage so he is riding sensibly without taking un-nessersry risks
or he is lucky the other bikes are below par at the moment and has got the wins because of the tracks long straights.
we shall see over the next few rounds thats for sure not counting mugello.

I can see your point about him not needing to push BUT: Quali in China, he wasn't fast through the corners when he needed it.

yeah catalunya could also be a problem its straight is only 1047m compared to mugellos 1141m but it only has 13 corners whereas mugello has 15 both tracks favor riders who like righthanders. so thats 2 less corners the doctor will have to close the gap.
im hopping yamaha suzuki and honda catch up in the power stakes by then.

ive not gone mad and started repeating myself, the sever said it had timed out so i hit the post button again.ummm bloody puters trying to make me look like a .......

The nature of the turns in LeMans is very different to the other places, from what I can see anyway. Whilst every other track has had a few very fast sections leading into one another including the fastest turn of the year in turkey, le mans is way different. It's really stop and go, nearly everywhere. I don't know who'll have an advantage, the Ducati seems to accelerate harder than the Yam, Rossi seems to be able to get on the gas sooner than Stoner when they're close but that Duke pulls like a train as sonn as Stoner picks it up. Gotta be hard on rear tyres and fuel too. It could come down to tyres again.

looking at the track skid i recon you may be right about it comming down to the tyres. 4 lefts 9 rights.

firstly i would like to see through my rossie tinted glasses rossi pull a rock hard move on elias that causes him to .... his leathers then blow stoner into the weeds cos yam found another 100 bhp from somewhere then when he is in parc fermi stoners and hopper birds fighting over him.
