<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>It wasn't Spanish gossip. So things are gossip when they are published by a Spanish newspaper and pure reality when they are published by a British one ? Don't make me laugh. You are turning into a patethic schoolboy.
In contrast to you, I looked into the archive of autosport.com and I found the following link:
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/56865
In this article you can see Puig saying the following:
"It seems like a joke that it is said that he is playing with an advantage. (Valentino) Rossi and (Nicky) Hayden didn't say anything about Dani's inferiority last season.
So not only Rossi but also Hayden were whining about Pedrosa's weight. And I agree completely with Puig. The bike has almost the same weight as last years bike. Pedrosa still has a weight disadvantage. Even more, I think Rossi has a weight advantage. He is heavy enough to handle to bike compared to Pedrosa, but he was leighter than Sete which caused him less tyre wear and better acceleration compared to Sete.
I could have looked a little bit longer on that site to find the article where Rossi explicitlt says it but I think this proofs enough. So apparently the Spanish newspaper wasn't producing so much gossips as you thought, wasn't it ?
I also found the Puig interview and know what he says. But what do he say? He says that Rossi and Hayden didn't say anything about Dani's inferiority last season (why in the world shoud they). He doesn't say anything about what they said this year. I'm still waiting for that and all the other whining references.
And honestly, do you seriously mean that I should take Puig's word for it when it comes to Pedrobot's disadvantage? You can't be serious. If anyone is whining here it's Puig.
Low weight and small size can become a disadvantage but it also holds lots of advantages. Everyone in racing know this, and that's why they have a minimum combined weight in 125. Therefore it seems like most people think that Pedrosa do have an advantage. To say somting in those lines are not whining or being hypocritical, it's a fair asumption. Like saying "the Yamaha turns pretty well this year". For it to be whining it must be more in the lines of "totally unfair advantage" or similar. Now that would be whining, but i've never seen Rossi or Hayden say that.
