Indeed, and that's a good quality Rossi doesn't posses.

Toni Elias is not "dangerous" Its just that those around him are "vunerable"

There, its all PC now.

I can't ever recollect Rossi 'whinging' apart from Turkey.

Maybe Qatar 04 when he was a bad boy and accussed Sete of snitching?

yeah but that was a little different because the rules were not so clear on that and rossi wasnt the only rider seen cleaning there pole slot but he was the only one punished, sete later went on to say that it was his team who lodged the complaint and sete did not agree with them. so that was sete and or his team complaining not rossi.

I agree, Rossi disappointed me with his complaining in Turkey, but other than that he very very rarely moans.

the tires showed visible problems at lap 4. Look at the pics on this forum.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Could you provide me a source with Eliases and Rossi's top speed in all the races they raced this year ? Thank you in advance.

Losail:
Rossi 302.4
Elias 304.1

Jerez:
Rossi 269.9
Elias 271.3

Istanbull:
Rossi 293.6
Elias 290.3

Shanghai: (qualifying)
Rossi 316.3
Elias 315.5

made on the very first lap with maximum weight, however the only time in that race he could slip stream.
Tire went bad and topped out at lap 5. But again, top speed there is about balls, as well as power.

If anyone except the Ducs has an advantage on Elias in top speed it's his teammate Melandri. 304.3, 272.6, 393.8, 319.4
Wonder why.

Now I've come up with the facts that prove that Rossi have no such advantage, could you in return please come up with actual references to Rossi's "frequent whining". A dossen references will do. Especially I'm interested in Rossis whining about "pedrosa's unfair weight advantage" that you constantly refer to.

I don't think those photos have any relevance. Randy Mamola saw the tire after the race and said that visibly it didn't look specially abnormal. Plus Michelin confirmed that the tire had no external issues with its compound and that the problem was in the carcass off the tire.

Well, at least his top speed dropped about 6km/h after lap 5 and was never close again.

How about motogp.com? it's all there and you don't have to be signed in.

I can only remember a "translation" from some spanish gossip. If it was anything else there must surly be lots of link to that sesational statement.
b/c all I've heard Rossi saying about Pedrosa is out of the outmost respect, where he twise anounsed Pedrosa has his hardest competitor for the title.

As I said links to a dossen or so different events where Rossi has been whining.

when did randy get to see rossi's tyre ?
directly after the race he said he saw edwards tyre i think it was but he could not get any where near rossis as it was rushed into the garage and covered up.

It wasn't Spanish gossip. So things are gossip when they are published by a Spanish newspaper and pure reality when they are published by a British one ? Don't make me laugh. You are turning into a patethic schoolboy.

In contrast to you, I looked into the archive of autosport.com and I found the following link: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/56865

In this article you can see Puig saying the following:

Puig has said that those who have hinted about favouritism towards Pedrosa, and the fact that his speed is the result of his weight, should focus more on their own efforts instead.

"It is the same story as always, and the only thing that they try to do is take credit away from the rider," he continued. "They already tried to do it when he was in 125cc and 250cc, asking that they put more weight on him.

"It seems like a joke that it is said that he is playing with an advantage. (Valentino) Rossi and (Nicky) Hayden didn't say anything about Dani's inferiority last season.

So not only Rossi but also Hayden were whining about Pedrosa's weight. And I agree completely with Puig. The bike has almost the same weight as last years bike. Pedrosa still has a weight disadvantage. Even more, I think Rossi has a weight advantage. He is heavy enough to handle to bike compared to Pedrosa, but he was leighter than Sete which caused him less tyre wear and better acceleration compared to Sete.

I could have looked a little bit longer on that site to find the article where Rossi explicitlt says it but I think this proofs enough. So apparently the Spanish newspaper wasn't producing so much gossips as you thought, wasn't it ?

I also found the Puig interview and know what he says. But what do he say? He says that Rossi and Hayden didn't say anything about Dani's inferiority last season (why in the world shoud they). He doesn't say anything about what they said this year. I'm still waiting for that and all the other whining references.

And honestly, do you seriously mean that I should take Puig's word for it when it comes to Pedrobot's disadvantage? You can't be serious. If anyone is whining here it's Puig.
Low weight and small size can become a disadvantage but it also holds lots of advantages. Everyone in racing know this, and that's why they have a minimum combined weight in 125. Therefore it seems like most people think that Pedrosa do have an advantage. To say somting in those lines are not whining or being hypocritical, it's a fair asumption. Like saying "the Yamaha turns pretty well this year". For it to be whining it must be more in the lines of "totally unfair advantage" or similar. Now that would be whining, but i've never seen Rossi or Hayden say that.

I agree with Babel here, you cannot read such a brief reference by Puig of all people and make up that the other riders have been "whining". They probably mentioned that Dani was lighter and would have an advantage for that reason. If Pedrosa said in an interview that other riders were bigger than him and could brake better i wouldn't call it whining, its an observation.
