Foggy, Whitham and Julian Ryder were in my home town on Friday night for a charity event in aid of Nick Crowe and Mark Cox.

FIVE-times TT winner Nick Crowe remains in intensive care with multiple leg and arm fractures after he and Mark Cox crashed flat-out on the approach to Ballaugh on the opening lap of last night's delayed Sidecar B race.
The pair were leading the all-Manx crew of Dave Molyneux and Dan Sayle by 0.65 of a second at Glen Helen and the crash occurred close to the entrance to Ballacobb residential cottages, half-a-mile short of the village.

It is believed that onboard footage from Crowe and Cox's HM Plant Honda suggests that the crash was caused by a hare running into the road directly in front of them.

They were both immediately attended to at the scene — one of the rescue helicopters is normally stationed at nearby Alpine Corner — and airlifted to Noble's Hospital.

It is understood that both men were conscious throughout, although suggestions that they were sat up in bed talking are perhaps slightly exaggerated.

Jurby man Crowe, 38, remains in intensive care with multiple leg and arm fractures.

Cox, 39, of Rochester in Kent, is now in Ward 11 but underwent an operation on his ankle this morning. He is also likely to require surgery to his hip ( news paper column )
It was a cracking night. Great stories from Foggy and Witham. Full of humour and attended by people who love our sport.....

Local Shropshire people who organise these events with all proceeds going directly to motorcycle related needs...Well Done !!!
