Car related help question.

Ok, so the car is a 2003/53 Peugeot 2 litre diesel and after a while of being in the car if you try to start it, it just tries then shudders and gives up anyone know why?

Except the fact that it's French

Its not that old a car?, but my diesel citroen had a similar problem. you may have an air leak, try checking the small bore rubber (or braded) pipes under the bonnet, some of mine had perished causing air to be pulled in might be worth a look

have you run it out or low on fuel, good be air in the fuel system or it could be a sensor problem, a dealer will be able to plug a diagnostic machine into the ecu and find out what fault codes it comes up with.

dont buy french cars, there .....
