Hi Guys and Gals,
I'm new here - but old and worn everywhere else! I believe this Forum originates in Great Britain. True? Or, is it even possible for a 'Net-based' community to originate somewhere.
Anyway...
I would love to hear from riders and race-fans from France and Germany as I will be living in those two countries for several weeks at a time on at least 3 occasions next year. BTW, I live in Arizona and travel to all the races within a days ride - or I did, before an accident required my right shoulder to be reconstructed recently!
If it helps, Patrick Pons and Toni Mang, are two of my all time favorite riders.
In fact, I was fortunate enough to see Patrick win the Daytona 200 when it was still a real race. And Toni could wrench AND ride. I followed him closely when he came second to 'Fast Freddie' by 3 points in the '85 250 championship. No mean feat when you consider that Freddie's '85 season is no doubt the single greatest season by any rider in the history of the sport of motorcycle racing.
Anyway...
I am enjoying the Forum and I have a lot of reading to do to catch up!
Thanks!
