I always thought that song represented its era more than any song ever has its own era, Does that make sense, those were kind of my enlightening years if you know what i mean.

I know exactly how you feel Povol, some music just speaks to you. Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

No need for a bucket WV. It has indoor/ outdoor plumbing. I drilled a 1/2" wide hole in the side. It doubles as a urinal and a glory hole.

You have no agreement with us as a unit, and none of us exercises any control over the other. Its a fact of life you don't fully grasp, that you only have control over yourself. You (Kesh) and i agreed to mutually not directly and indirectly engage eachother, you have broken that several times, which i let go until you started doing this with such regularity that it needed to be addressed. You have quoted me several times which I ignored, then in the Gracious Marc thread you again quoted me to provoke a response by making judgments only about the soundness of my logic NOT the actual topic. You did this to elicit a response!

You have consistently never kept your word and when repeatedly asked to stop you have offered some ........ rationalization why you think it's fine to break the agreement. Its on you Kesh. Accept responsibility for your actions, acknowledge you broke your word for once in your life. I am happy and willing not to engage you because i consider you toxic, dishonest, and not the sort of person I want to engage. It makes perfect sense Povol. Hence why I think NWA's song .... the Police represented it's era too. Though I'd say that song is now timeless.
