Camping at Valencia MotoGP quandry

Hello to all, this is my first post although i have always found this forum really interesting to read for MotoGP gossip and info!

I have a quandry and wonder if you guys can help...

Having arranged time off and sorted tickets for the Valencia motogp for my girlfriend and I, I realised that the GSXR1000 cant carry me, her and all the camping things very easily... we dont want a hotel or bb style place as it lacks the atmosphere... does anyone know if there is a company that will offer pre-erected tents or if you can rent them there etc? would be good not to have the hassle of lugging stuff over there...i realise for purists that may be part of the fun tho ;-)

why dont you just buy a cheap 2 man tent when you get there then leave the ...... there ??

wise words indeed! was hoping to avoid buying then chuckin the tent! found a company that do offer these things like a tent-stylee hotel thing at moto gp and wsb called intentsgp ( i should get commision for plugging that)...food for thought tho thanks chaps/chapettes

curious here guys, i might be heading down to Valencia for the the race, but i havent found anything about camping there? is there track camping or not? nothing ive found on the net, and help would be very much appricated, thanks guys

Hi Desmo,

Welcome to the forum.

Went last year and found a small family run house with a small garden who pitched the tent for you before your arrival. They also provide you with a pre packed lunch, brekkie before you go, cold beer etc,etc.

REally nice UK run business with about enough room for about 10 tents. You also get power supply for your phones and hot water on demand.

Well worth it and quite cheap. close enough to walk to track and not very well known. If you want i can pm you the address and web details

Also onsite camping depends on what you call `atmosphere`

The Valencia campsite is a bit like Le Man. Very noisy and roudy with bikes revving up all night wth no exhausts on - bikes riding through the campsite etc. if thats your thing its very cool and the atmosphere is great , but if its not , then stay off site and walk in. There are very good buses from the business park into the track and there free.

whatever happens, you hae to hit the party in Cheste on Friday night before the race!!

Hey chan chan thanks for that, sounds like you are onto something with that! yea the details for that wold be great (sorry not sure how the pm works...im not technologically minded at all!!!

rowles...in the last post i think i put the name of a british company i found called intentsgp (i wont put up the web addy for obvious reasons but its easy to find)...so i called them and the guy was really helpful about how the campsite works at valencia and other tracks and the outings including one that they organise to the "do" that chanchan mentioned ( i believe its the same one)...the long and short of it is they have pre-set up tents there in the circuit camping area and sort everything for you...so like chanchan says if you like the noise the circuit thats ideal...if you dont mind walking and want quiet his option sounds good too...im umming and ahhhing (if thats how you spell these things)

i think you may have misunderstood pinky. he was not making a statement, he was asking a question. apparently he likes a bit of tight butthole and he was wondering if yours would pass muster. if you are not from hongkong, your sphincter will remain unviolated..

Hi Desmo,

I have pmd you the details. if you look at the top of your screen on the right hand side you will see some prompts next to " my controls".

to the right of that at the end you will see new msgs. Also when you log on it should tell you if you have received any msgs.

If you cant find them ask Ben, He will sure be able to help you through.

and BigAl...re my buttocks and pinkys affinity... i heard on discovery channel that over 15% of the worlds land mass remains untouched my man...so thats 16% including my fat arse!

Hi guys...

just read this link after being directed here...basically asked the same thing about camping!

3 mates and I have booked up valencia with that intentsGP company after reading one of the recommendations on here...got to say the whole thing sounds great and im looking forward to getting there

do we know who else from the forum will be at the campsite or the circuit in general? having a meet up would be great either at the campsite (by the swimming pool the tent people are bringing!!!)
