One is a truck (ie. Baz's picture), the other is a ute which is slightly larger than the average car and as for parking, a truck needs a yard where a ute needs a driveway :D

In baz's pic is a SEMI truck
what I have is..... according to Wikipedia

The Chevrolet Silverado, and its mechanically identical cousin, the GMC Sierra, are a series of full-size and heavy-duty pickup trucks manufactured by General Motors

I need 7.5 ft wide x 18 ft long with about 6 ft tall.
Hope the dimensions helps

The truck in Baz's pic is a road train as opposed to what we call a semi (have road trains around where I live, 2 and 3 trailer variety)

Mate you could happily park on my place but I reckon Baz is closer to Oregon than I am (I am close to 'bumfuck nowhere' as they say in Oz) but hope you get a joint and a place to park soon

Post up a thread over on PNW Moto and I'm sure you'll get all kinds of good responses, as the riding community is primarily in Washington/Oregon.

Why dont you do what aussies do with their utes .....

Chain your cattledog to the gearbox with car length/2 of chain. Then just park it wherever you like.

ps. Thats actually a semi-serious suggestion.

Close Baz

Out here they do chain them in the tray of the ute but have small structures to shade the dog and many have small water troughs as well.

Mind you, out here the dogs are treated differently to many in the city as they are worth some serious dollars and love to the owner (some of the kelpies are simply stunning dogs and we do have a few dingoes that are pets as well)

Shovel, seriously just pm if need be and I can put it up in ADVRider for you but the only downer is that I do not know these people personally so from a vouch side it may be a bit risky, (I do not know how strong the biker culture is in the states as over here, if you are a biker and steal from a biker, karma can come)
