FOR IMPERSONATING AN OFFICER!

BAD THING IS HE PULLED OVER TWO OFF DUTY HP OFFICERS!

Somebody please tell me this is some early April fools joke. OMFG! Its over, his life is over!

(BTW, I did this once when I was a kid. No ........, my best friend and I were in his mom's car that looked like a undercover patrol car. Using a DJ red light, we crept up on couple making out at the park at night hoping we might see a chick in her underwear. Hahaha. We were about 16 at the time.)

That's it. His life officially ended. Now the only hope I have to salvage this SX season is Ryan Villopoto.

Well I think we will have to wait and see a far as his career, but this was a felony so your probably right. I'm curious how the AMA handles this, they dropped the hammer on J-Law a few years back, but he did a lot of stupid things that lead up to that. Bubba as far as I know has never been in any kind of trouble with the law so he might just get a fine and a smack on the wrist from them. Red Bull hold their athletes to a high standard and they might withdraw any support or just let his current contract run and not renew? As far as Yamaha and his other sponsors I don't know. Looks like Larry Brooks got out of there just in time....maybe he knew something stupid like this was bound to happen soon?

I still for the life of me cannot fathom why someone with his talent and fame would do something so stupid...I know he's a kid an all but really? On top of that the 44 year old man that was arrested with him should have said dude, this is not such a great idea.

Anyone wanting a lifted 08 Tundra for a good deal should be watching for it at the county auction there.

Usually when one of the top athlete's/stars does some stupid .... like this, it is over for them.

Bubba= The next Anthony Gobert. (Which is a shame)

I always wondered if people did this kind of thing. Now I know why I see teenagers driving Crown Victorias with spotlight housings on the A-pillar.

I'm giving him a pass on this one. Bubbas always been a good kid and a class act and this sounds like some juvenile prank gone horribly bad. What he did is ...... up and the cops are going to try nailing his ... to the wall with it. With his money and clean backround I hope they won't be too hard on him.

After watching his show he comes across as a little naïve and not very street savvy. I think his dad insulated him from the real world too much

The more I read about this it's clear that James was just screwing around and didn't know the consequences. It sounds like he was just ....... with the car in front of him with no intention of getting out and pretending like he was a cop. It says he was arrested at the airport and not chased there so it sounds like the coppers followed him and than arrested him. It doesnt sound like a car chase which would have been real bad.

The coppers and judges love this sort of thing because they can let him off easily but make him do tons of PR.

I'm more appalled that they can take your car away for good because you commited a felony.

I can see Yamaha getting involved with what Stewart did. That's fine. That's your boss. Even if you work at McD's and get arrested. If it affects your job, then it affects their bottom line. If it costs Stewart races, and potential wins/podiums, then Yamaha should step in.

But the AMA. No. F1 didn't suspend or fine Lewis Hamilton for his speeding tickets. NASCAR didn't suspend or fine Scott Wimmer in '04 and he wasn't benched or fined.

After reading it and thinking about it (and the initial shock wearing off), I agree; it was a prank gone wrong. Also, if you notice from the report, lots of details were left out. I have a feeling that they pulled up to the side on the guys, said something funny, the cops having a God complex (and God knows most all of them do) decided they would ....'em over. Well either way James is ....... I'm sure they didn't know at the moment that the cops were actually cops and just drove away (though the report sensationalizes it as "fled the scene") In fact, check out the video, its typical news sensationalism. Sometimes I don't know if I'm watching an SNL skit. He could have told the cops they were ....... around I suppose, and offered them some VIP tix to next race. (But knowing cops, that could have gone worse as the cops, may have claimed attempted bribery. ) I wonder if this episode will make MTV?

Oh, about the impound of the truck, dude, its a ....... racket. Mafia.

I knew his true colors would shone sooner or later. And no, I wasn't stereotyping..... or am I? Muahahahhaha.

This Stewart guy always seems to me like he hasn't 'grown' up yet. I think it's due to the fact that being raised and nurtured to be this 'specimen' has cost him dearly as far as life lessons and maturity goes. You can just tell in his interviews that he's still that 13 year old boy trying to live up to his parents' expectations.

He reminds me of those child stars.
