Well to be honest, I don't remember it being too cold while I was watching the racing and practice since I was surrounded by such warmth. Group hug everybody. It was only after I saw the pictures of Gaytorduc did I realize we must have been freezing. haha

It was only Gator's swamp ... seeping up through his clothing from down below keeping him warm and alive !

Only managed to catch the second race today but as has come to be expected from this series things were action-packed and exciting. Some great moves from Josh Brookes to take the win - Hopper looked like he was suffering a bit by the end but still ended up doing pretty well. Leaves the championship nice and open for the finale at Brands too!

Good stuff again from the BSB boys ! Never a boring, sorry didn't mean to say the B word, dull moment. Hopper is a class act. BRING ON BRANDS !

How does the points work in BSB. What does Hopper have to do to win the title, besides the obvious.

Interesting! The last round of the championship is 3 races with the normal points of 25-20-16 etc. Hoppers lead is small with 75 points available, looks like he has to race for wins

This is what Hopper's finger looked like. So you can imagine the pain he was under during the race. He mentioned he didn't take a pain killer because he wanted to know if he was damaging his finger more. I gotta say, I'm impressed with the man. Race one was totally amazing and race 2 looked like he was about to battle with Hill for 2nd place when the red flag came out. I really hope he wins the title.

Me and Jum had a bit of a chat about this. As a proud Englishman and BSB fan I would still like to see Hopper take the title. I think that BSB and Hopper have been a perfect match this season. BSB has given John a second chance at grabbing a world class ride next year. It has given him some serious self belief and hid star appears on the rise again. That's thanks to his talent , bit also to BSB as a whole. It's a great series which is always competitive. It's very well attended and TV coverage is good.

The other side of the coin is that Hopper has given BSB some extra credibility by attracting riders of Hoppers obvious talents.

I think John has been a credit to himself this season. He has always praised the team and the bike. Always thanks the fans and has just put on a great show.....and his hand is a mess !

Well said Wills, couldn't and probably wouldn't have put it better myself.

I don't know much about the guy but have worked out he went off the rails at some time in the past.

However I had the pleasure of John's company for about 15mins at Jerez and we just chatted bout this n that and a lil about racing and I cannot fault the guy! He was just like meeting and chatting to one of you guys that I met and chatted with at silvo for the GP!

Good luck Hopper!

How'd you end up meeting him?! He's a bit mental, and a great racer, so I wish him the best of luck too.

Him or Shakey would do nicely to win this season - still not too sure about those Swan Yamaha's - they look great but lack something I can't quite put my finger on...

I had zooki hospitality and part of the deal was a 15mins interview with Alvero but Hopper was standing in for him so go to interview Hopper instead and got 10mis with Alvero too.

Agree Hopper or Shakey would do nicely. I thought the swan yams had got stronger towards the end of the season, they are certainly at the pointy end more
