Who watched that then?

Fast, mature and solid riding by Sykes all day
<
I was pretty chuffed to see him take a double, hes coming along really well this year and hes set himself up nicely for his brands hatch wild card rounds. Podiums should be the target.

As usual Oulton park gives us some incredible footage and an exciting load of races, i really love that place. Shakey managed to not win a race all day for the first time this year (i think) but still increased his championsip lead form the podium, he''s rediculous. Haslam continues to disappoint, and is now behind Sykes overall, but that might not last. It was also refreshing to see an agressive riding Ellison at the front of some races.

How about Shakey's move on Harris in race one??

Supersport race was also pretty good, second win of the year for Richards and an extended championship lead

Considering Haslam was disqualified for his move, I forget who he knocked off, but Shakey's was pretty much exactly the same - so if consistency prevails, Byrne should be disqualified as well. I think its a bit harsh though, both moves were racing incidents imo and don't warrant a dq.

Sykes was excellent, calm and collected all weekend. i was dissapointed for Crutchlow, he should have been on the podium in race one and maybe could have had a better go at taking Sykes in race 2. Either way, brilliant racing and kinda nice to see a different winner..

Well i think the Haslam DQ was harsh, but he did make it worse by trying to let the break off and go straight when he was already commited. I think the right decision was made

Had a brilliant day yesterday at Oulton

Really pleased for Sykes, it's about time he started winning races, i hope he can continue to have strong results.
im also glad that shakey didn't get a win, this is because i now find him boring, it's almost predictable what he's gonna do. Although i dont mind him finishing 2nd or 3rd etc. . .its about time others got a shot at the top step on the podium.

I have to say that i am truely disappointed in Haslam's performance this year and thats something i thought id never have to say about him.

Ive looked at Harris' crash a few times now and it appears to me that Shakey barged his way through (even though Harris didn't know he was coming). It was a very harsh move and i do believe that Shakey should have been disqualified for it, it was very unfair. Especially from Haslam's point of view with him being disqualified for causing Sykes to crash out of 1st earlier on in the year.

Good stuff from Ellison, he's shown that he does have the potential to win races and score high points, i hope to see more of this from Ellison in the near future.

Ahh yes! Glen Richards!. i've always liked him, hes a top bloke!. i hope that he does win the Supersport championship this year as he deserves it. The only thing is, if he was to win supersport then possibly get a ride in British Superbikes, would he just end up riding around, not racing around as he was in 2006 with Hydrex Honda?

We sat on the infield overlooking Hizzy's

Ahh yes, the views near hizzy's are good because you can see a lot. I like the outside of Hizzy's/Knickerbrook because you can also see the bikes through cascades and up clay hill, i'm not so familiar with the infield, is it the same benefits? My favorite Oulton park view of all though is to go to the infield veiwing Druids and follow the fence as far as you can back towards clay hill. Watching the superbikes storm through there is one of the best sights i've seen in British racing.

I think the outside view overlooking Hizzy's is better because you can see loads more, but i prefer it on the infield because you're nearer to the paddock, shops etc. . .
I know theres a footbridge on clay hill is it?, but i cant be bothered to walk all the way up there to cross over

I like watching them on that last corner too (forgot the name of it)

YEAH

That's one of the increasingly rare opertunities to get close enough to see into the riders visors.

Yeah I was there.
I got Sykes to sign the picture I drew of him on Saturday and he seemed well pleased with it! Then on Sunday he goes and does something amazing like that!!! I'm so happy for him!

I so wanted James Westmoreland to do better than he did, but he is doing well compared to Dan Cooper this season.

I didn't really understand what happened between Shakey and Harris in race one. I just heard that they were investigating it
