BSB mole unearths a tasty rumour that the Denning dynasty wants out of British Superbikes

WE'VE JUST had an unconfirmed report from our BSB mole that Crescent Suzuki is pulling out of next year's British Superbike Championship.

It's alleged the Denning family, who own the Crescent empire, want out of BSB due to the increasing demands of the economic global crisis. Sources say Crescent's BSB mechanics have already been put on part-time hours.

The team signed MotoGP exile Sylvian Guintoli last year to compete in BSB for 2009; on the downside Crescent lost their long-standing sponsor, Rizla, in October 2008; the company are still looking for a sponsor to replace the ... paper giant.

Sources also say Crescent will make a decision whether to compete by the end of the month.

If this is true its a pretty major blow after the Ducati pull out. I think the title will be in Yamahas hands at the end of this season.

Also, has anyone following BSB heard any news about the future of Michael Laverty?
