Race 1
Race 2
Grats to Kiyo!!!
Also, my dad sponsored a bike in Sbk (Kenny Gilbertson) . His bits the yellowduck near the foot:
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>I'm just "mum" so forgive me for not being able to give you any technical
speak................. a weekend of mixed emotions for me as I sat at home
waiting for news. Hugely proud of Kenny for many things, being in the
Superbike class this weekend, for his fantastic first practice, the 110% he
gave in qualifying on probably the only "stock" bike in the race to name
just a few, and then there were the other emotions throughout the weekend,
fear, nerves, joy, sadness etc etc
I haven't spoken to any of them yet but I'm sure most of you watched on TV
or at Brands so know that today really didn't round off his season as anyone
would have wanted for him. Race one he came off in one of the last few laps
and in race 2, he came off on the oil spill, just before they red flagged
it. He could have restarted but I believe his leathers, helmet and bike
had taken too much of a battering. Kenny will give you a much better
insight into the 2 races and what happened when he writes his report.
Kenny will be contacting you all soon to tell you about this weekend and to
say thanks properly but we really have appreciated your support throughout
the season. So many of you have been there supporting him at the various
rounds and you know, your financial support has been very much appreciated
and needed.
Andy's photo's of today are now uploaded (link below) and I think they are
great. There are shots of some of you, the team, the crowd and of course,
Kenny! I hope you've enjoyed the photo's of Andy, John and Simon both on
Andy's site and the flickr site.
Thanks you all as always for supporting his 2007 season and helping bring
him a little closer to his dream
