Thing is Lorenzo's style is less harsh on the front, and it's why the hard tire has been detrimental for him. So if his tire started chunking it was a quality control issue ( not unheard of considering what we saw today on the slow-mo camera regarding tires and Dovi himself having to retire, granted they passed life of such a tire in these particular conditions.). Bottom line, Lorenzo and the rest of the field must take gambles on tires to compete against the hard tires. They are ...... one way or the other, choose hards, compete with Rossi on his tires, chose softs, take a gamble they'll disintegrate.Possibly riding style, Iannone's tyre did the same two laps from the end.
