shakey had a good day too but just could'nt get the win in either race

a massive well done to jonathan rea if hm honda had'nt made the wrong tyre choice he could have won race one but thats racing.... cant wait till he comes to motogp

I always find that BSB is a lot more competitive than MotoGP!

Good to see Haslam win, & well done Lavilla - surely one of the coolest, most naturally-gifted, smoothest & all-round best riders around.

Hell yeah, hopefully he keeps on a role. I want Shakey to get more involved in the championship hunt and then the series will be perfect.

Hehe! Obviously some people didn't like me saying what is obviously true. It's clear just from watching that BSB is always a lot closer & more competitive, but I'm sure that doesn't make a shites worth of difference to some people so...meh!

There hasn't been, for me, a single GP race this year as thrilling as the 2races at Mondello. But each to his own.

Yeah, I personally think it was the most thrilling, entertaining racing I have watched this season. I'm now looking forward to the next BSB as equally as much as the next MotoGP.

What you find thrilling and entertaining is very different to what is the most competative. You only need to look at the times to see that motogp is by far the most competative series out there at the moment. I'd like to see the british superbike grid get 12 people within a second of each other, but its not competative enough. I don't mind though, because the racing is great.

Hmm, yeah it's a good point, but besides Catalunya I haven't really seen in MotoGP this season such CLOSE racing & passing as with BSB, & with BSB you never quite know 'til the very end who will win, whereas lately in MotoGP is has become quite apparent fairly early on who will win.

Erm, I'd go as far as saying that at the minute, MotoGP is easier to predict than BSB, although I still feel & will always feel that MotoGP is the best.

This is the biggest bunch of ........ I've seen you write so far.

So what if the ....... practice times are within 1 sec of each other? How many times within the race have the top 5 been within a few seconds of each other? Not very much.

Just because the times are close doesn't mean it's competitive, well it does, but it doesn't translate to close racing.

The thing with motogp is that its so competative, so close, and at such a hugh level that it all the riders are riding to the absoloute maximum all the time. This makes passing hard because it is rare for a rider to have a significant advantage over another. Although the races may be less thrilling than the BSB battles for the lead, they are more competative. The difference in level of rider and machinary in BSB is huge between the top and the edge of the points.
