BRITISH SUPERBIKES has become the latest casualty of the credit crunch after its main sponsor Bennetts pulled out yesterday.
The insurance firm has pulled the plug after four years and follows the likes of tobacco giant Rizla and Ducati in leaving the championship.
Director Paul Galligan confirmed: "Following four successful years as title sponsors we have decided to focus on other projects, which we'll be announcing due course.
"We have really enjoyed our time as title sponsors and our involvement with the teams and riders."
