I don't get why everybody is so shocked. First of all, the final decision is Rossi's. If he feels he can race then so be it. We've had riders with broken bones ride, so what is the big deal? We've had guys with broken ankle(s), legs, arms, shoulders, and much worse soft tissue injury, etc. These guys are not like us, they heal faster because they are in outstanding shape, they get the best medical attention, and to add, they are competitive by nature. Dorna moves for Rossi, not the other way around. If he want to race I say do it, plus this will give the Boppers something more to worship (yeah, I know, they don't need encouragement). Rossi isn't dumb either, he knows anywhere he circulates will be met with fantastic over the top admiration. Who wants to bet me the Boppers will be energized to a fever pitch? God knows all they've managed to do with that energy is step up the Stoner hate. Its a win win if Rossi comes back, he knows it too.

I guess I can go along with - First of all, the final decision is Rossi's...................................

Only thing worse than broken bones is lactic intolerance - I don't hate Stoner - or anybody else - I just can't get excited about what he does (read doesn't) do for the sport

The nine time world champion used one of James Toseland's two Yamaha R1 Superbikes, clad in sponsor-free, all black bodywork.



The test session came to an end at 6:55 pm, after he covered a total of 11 laps, the best being a 1.41.00. For the sake of comparison, Max Biaggi's fastest race lap at the track was a 1.36.589.



It would appear as if Rossi's physical condition is quite good, even if the demands of a MotoGP are different from those of a Superbike. Valentino is certainly not at 100%, but it is safe to say he is above 50%.



The bikes on hand for Valentino are now being prepared to ship out to the Czech Republic for this weekends WSBK races at Brno.."

The test is finished. Here's what Davide Brivio said: "Finished test.. 10 + 14 laps. Vale made a good job. Still some pain and now he knows more how to get better... Lap time was not so bad too!"

so if Rossi is Batman is Lorenzo Boy Wonder (Robin)? LOL We've always called him Gay Robin.
