Rossi Epic Fail ............and that's without even reading the article
My thoughts too Pigeon. If he chucks it down the road and picks up another injury it could be the end for him.Stupid decision!

really? then either your head is full of ....(most likely) or you must be blind cause i haven´t seen any racing at the front in gp´s for at least 4 races ,neither you boyfriend casey nor predro or anybody else has been capable of give lorenzo a run for his money lately
His urgent coming back is surprising but I find more interesting that he tests a WSB-spec R1 this week. This must be more than just a quick health-check for Rossi, for that they do not need a world spec machine. I bet Crutchlow and Toseland won´t sleep well if Rossi do not agree with the claimed problems of the ´10 bike. Hope the laptimes will be announced!
Valentino Rossi will make an astonishing return to action when he tests a Yamaha at the Misano circuit in Italy on Wednesday afternoon. Why would Crutchlow or Toseland loose any sleep at all over Rossi riding a R1? Is Rossi going to WSBK now? Are Yamaha having him test the WSBK R1 to help sort out its problems? Can anyone provide a link that says it is a WSBK spec R1? The reports I have read is that it is an R1 Sports bike.
Maybe because he drives a car he is going Touring Car racing. There was a photo of him on a boat so maybe he is going offshore powerboat racing.
Damn it is comical the speculation that happens around this guy.

The 31-year-old Italian broke his leg on June 5 in a huge highside during practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello.
Rossi, a seven-time MotoGP world champion, had been expected to be on the sidelines for three or four months after suffering the compound fracture to his shin, although he had spoken of a desire to return to racing at next month's Czech Grand Prix at Brno.
But a successful test later on Wednesday, aboard a YZF-R1 superbike provided by the Japanese manufacturer's World Superbike Championship team,

A statement for Yamaha said:
“The test will take place using a YZF-R1 WSB machine provided by the Yamaha World Superbike Team to the Fiat Yamaha Team. Yamaha will inform the media later today of the results of the test and of Valentino's condition.”
Cool, stand corrected. Still think it is comical that comments about Toseland and Crutchlow loosing sleep is added.
Risking Rossi's career in order to save this season's TV ratings? I wonder how many TV contracts expire at the end of 2010?
I think Ezpeleta is trying to pressure Rossi to return before he is ready.
I don't get why everybody is so shocked. First of all, the final decision is Rossi's. If he feels he can race then so be it. We've had riders with broken bones ride, so what is the big deal? We've had guys with broken ankle(s), legs, arms, shoulders, and much worse soft tissue injury, etc. These guys are not like us, they heal faster because they are in outstanding shape, they get the best medical attention, and to add, they are competitive by nature. Dorna moves for Rossi, not the other way around. If he want to race I say do it, plus this will give the Boppers something more to worship (yeah, I know, they don't need encouragement). Rossi isn't dumb either, he knows anywhere he circulates will be met with fantastic over the top admiration. Who wants to bet me the Boppers will be energized to a fever pitch? God knows all they've managed to do with that energy is step up the Stoner hate. Its a win win if Rossi comes back, he knows it too.
Shut it jumjum
"This is payback for me, because I had immediately predicted short recovery times," MotoGP doctor Claudio Costa was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport.
