Ilmor X3 MotoGP
BMW X3 crossover SUV car
In late 2006 Ilmor unveiled their first-ever MotoGP racing motorcycle that codenamed "X3" but sadly BMW didn't know Ilmor used X3 naming as their official motorcycle name as X3 naming already patented by BMW for a compact crossover SUV car.
In Formula 1, Ferrari had a complicated case of car naming in 2011 because Ferrari stole the F150 naming from Ford for their race cars but Ferrari changed their race car name in 11th hour ahead of 2011 season.
