I notice a lot of interest in Ben Spies on this site, and i know very little about him. Do people actually think he is a potential world star (GP or Superbike) or is he just the most recent domestic star?

I don't know a lot about him either, but a hell of a lot of people seem to rate him. Also, the last man to beat Mat Mladin to the AMA title is now a world champ, and he did it on a better bike, not the same one.

Next would be John Kocinski. I think he was one of the most talented riders in any class, unfortunately he was also completely mad.

Kevin Schwantz, has anyone ever broken more of the laws of physics on a motorcycle while also breaking a lot of his own bones as well.

Last but not least Aron Yates, two in one a fearless and talented rider and professional wrestling skills for added entertainment.

Can I just say it's great to see Lil John gettin some love on here, the fact that he was as mad as a box of frogs just made him more fascinating. The way he got under Schwantz's skin just by being there was incredible! I have to say I was a big fan of the guy, and when he went to world supers, when Foggy was on the Honda, moaning about how crap it was all year. The next season Lil John went to Honda and Foggy back to Ducati, and Kocinski took the title on the Honda.

They do say there is a line between genious and madness....
