Just read on Ductalk.com Ben Spies will be going to the Pramac team with a factory ride from the factory. His teammate will be Andrea Iannone. I for some reason can't copy the link, not sure why but it is there. It does seem to make sense since the Gresini Ride would make him switch suspensions and it seemed as though Fausto was keen on keeping the current rider.

Now I would think that after all this fanfare with Vale leaving and the next few riders falling into place for Ducati, they would get thier act together. Let's face it, GP needs them to be competative as do the rest of the fans who watch racing. As much as I am not a Suzuki fan, I can't wait for them to get back to the premier class also, same hopefully with Kawi. But in the current climate of the sport, it seems like a lifetime away that we could see all the major players at full song, banging bars and making us gasp when they attempt a pass.

Ducati will have my support next year. Nicky & Spies on board will just make it sweeter.

Do you only support Ducati on odd years as well? 2012 no, 2013 yes, 2014 no, 2015...

Nope, Rossi is off the bike now, so I'm back on.

Sadly, CReers Totally over.

Oh....come on.....surely with Nicky as the longest serving Ducati rider and now probably lead development rider, Spies will greatly benefit as a result. Spies can then take the B-team Duke to glory. Also. Audi's restructure of Ducati racing is bound to fix how the factory rolls out new parts based on what the riders say they really need.

Do you not believe the changes by Audi will make much difference?

Or do you think Hayden's input will not make a any difference to Ducati's fortunes or improvement on the bike?

What surprises me is that Spies would actually stay in GPs at all....since I thought he was fed up with the whole song and dance of politics and WWF show. Guess the money is too good to pass up, or no other options were left for the guy....

Well if this report is true then well done BSpies for sticking with the premier racing championship!

Can't wait for the Boppers to claim any Ducati successes next year as Rossi's because, you know, Rossi developed it!!!!

I reckon that Ducati will have their best team depth wise in a long time if not ever. I am expecting a much better year in 2013 than the last 2 now they are rid of the major money drain and have riders who will all put in maximum effort on track.

This surely must have been all that was on offer!

IMO Dovi should have been on the Pramac, Spies in the Factory.

I agree.....and I would add that the Spies and Hayden fanboys should not attribute any future failures and lack of results by Ducati to Rossi either....

But it is his fault!!

I predict that Rossi is going toget winged at like Casey Stoner was by the boppers. Matter of fact I'd go as far as to say:

Spies will undo the damage rossi has caused to the ducati ..... and Ducati.

Go rossi!! rossi is the new Casey Stoner!! in that regard

Am I the only one who thinks Ben on the Yam will end in tears?

There are much larger powers out there that want Spies to stay in MOTOGP. I'm sure there were plenty Superbike teams that wanted Spies but I think the WWFGP is very persuasive. So yeah maybe the money was that good.

Ducati is going to race 4 factory bikes next year. Pramac or Marlboro will make little or no difference.

The experience with Rossi has been damaging image wise, but very useful as a learning process for Ducati.

The bike is already improving.

And should Stoner ever fancy a ride as wild card at P.I., guess which manufacturer will give him a factory bike.

Honda?

Oh wait, u were prob thinking Marlboro Ducati. Yeah yeah, cuz Casey has such fond memories of being questioned as to the authenticity of his "mystery" illness. Oh, and Ducati factory bending over backwards, u know, moving heaven and earth, to develop the bike based on their only champ's inputs.
