did anyone not get excited about bradleys test time

or pols first laps on the Yamaha

what about lowes 0.4 off the best time, first time out on a speed up

what about jack miller, fastest at pre test

danny kent, bad move?

We talked about that stuff in the test thread. Although admittedly you have to wade through a lot of off-topic banter to find it.

It's always difficult to get overly excited about test times. Without knowing what fuel loads and setups people are running, there's no context. Don't get me wrong, I'm always interested to see it, but I woudn't be too surpised if it doesn't really reflect race lap times on these bikes. Especially at this stage of the game, perhaps Sepang will give a clearer idea.

Was good hearing about Lowes killing it first time out on a Moto2 bike though. No matter the context, that's cool to see and I hope he kicks ... and takes championships like his brother. Bit odd he's using 22 though, what will Alex use if/when he comes to MotoGP?

got to be better than that tribal stuff! after all I can read that stuff anywhere, as interesting as it is.

partly agree with you but afters seeing so many pre season tests.

the fastest first is usually the fastest last.

yep

Sorry, can't agree even slightly. Because to do so would accept that Cal and Gigi can't do something to make the Duc more competitive this year. And if I didn't cling to my blind hope like a stubborn mule, then it just wouldn't be British of me. :p

can remember that video as a kid and thinking ernies got a minger. be first in the row now.

cals fooked as his test time tells you.

What his first time riding a bike everyone knows is ....? That was this year's Ducati. The only real objective was for Cal to ride it and give them a list of exactly how the M1 was better.

So while Cal gets to rest up the writer's cramp he got from writing said list, it gives Gigi and his guys to try and adapt some of that crap to next year's bike.

I'm not expecting miracles, and I'll be happy enough if he can be scrapping amongst Bradders, Pol, Rossi, Redding Torpista. maybe a couple podiums in select circumstances and then win the championship in 2015. Not unrealistic at all. :p

Now there's an interesting debate...the nature of Britishness

Agreed, let's discuss this at length.

arrabbieta always wondered why they called  2 corners after a pasta dish.

especially if the 2nd one tops the first by miles. uphill, blind, just as fast and a bit further away from the biaggi fans
