Not to sure if it makes more than 25hp, it'll do 80+mph, even with 17,000 miles on it.
The funny thing is, I'm the original owner. Bought it brand new in 1995 as my 1st bike. Installed the exhaust and tank, but desired a sport bike so I sold it.
A few years later one of my dads buddies was in need of another bike to take up the Continental Divide from the Mexico to Canadian Boarders with his son. I hooked him up with the 2nd owner, it made the trip plus a few others.
Anyway, my dad bought it and GAVE IT TO ME!!! I had to sell my recent bikes to help with my business. He felt bad, and thought I needed a bike.
Now I get to go trail riding with my brother in-law (who bought my DRZ400)!!! Last Sunday we did a 8hr ride on 60 miles of kick ... trails in the Rocky Mountains!!! Some trails were so tight and full of boulders, you couldn't believe it was a trail. I almost dropped it a hundred times, but like the old saying goes "when in doubt GAS IT!!!". Never had to pick it up once, but I wish I owned a kidney belt, and disabled the kickstand switch.
I'll say it again, I've got the GREATEST DAD!!!
