I saw Lorenzo waiting for Iannone to come by, then he pulled out behind him attempting to get a tow. Unfortunately for him, Iannone noticed and pulled off the line forcing Lorenzo to go on his own.
Before that, like I said on the straight after turn one. Watch it

I just rewatched it. I saw Iannone exiting pit lane as Lorenzo was speeding by (didn't seem like Iannone planned that). Lorenzo saw Iannone exiting the pits and looked over his shoulder to confirm Iannone was behind him. Then Lorenzo slowed and pulled off the line waiting for Iannone to pass and attempted to tuck in behind him. But Iannone then pulled off the line to make sure nobody was getting a tow from him.

Well done.

What I learned here is Lorenzo was ready to come but Iannone pulled out. Is that about right?

A step, more like leap from a flying squirrel

He was distracted and it was an accident - he was not clearing a path as had been suggested

I heard that there was a girl in a yellow t-shirt that bared her ....s and distracted him as the sun gleamed from her nipple piercings into Danilo's eyes

quite sad really for a man that was almost in tears earlier this year when he came back after ruining his hand.

Yet he still is willing to sacrifice his race position in the final race of the year for his so called mate. He'll never make it, he's not a proper racer.

Marc admitted that it was his fault, not Dani's.

Marc Marquez (P5): “It was a tough day for us as we began the morning session with a crash in FP3 that was completely my mistake. I braked too late and went wide at turn 3, risking a clash with Dani who was in front on the outside line. To avoid him, I crashed and I dislocated my left shoulder. I decided, along with the doctor, to go to the hospital to check that everything was okay. Luckily it was just a scare, and I was able to ride in the afternoon despite being bruised up. In the end, I think fifth place is good. The goal was to be close to the podium spots, and we succeeded in that. Tomorrow we’ll try to get close to the two Yamahas, with the knowledge that the Ducatis have been faster until now, but we’ll give our best as usual.”

Fair asessment except the part about Ianonne just happening to come out as Lorenzo was coming by. That .... is always planned and with Lorenzo's speed , he would be the perfect patsy for a tow. Slightly faster and with the perfect distance to get a tow on the two fastest sectors the next time around.

It's not always planned to exit pit lane as a specific rider is passing the pits. Many times riders leaving the pits end up stuck in traffic and it hurts their qualifying time. So timing their pit lane exit properly is not always planned. In the past, when Iannone sought out Lorenzo for a tow, he pitted at the same time as Lorenzo and stayed on him. This time, I'm not so sure Iannone was planning on a tow from Lorenzo because he was doing his own thing. Lorenzo actually aborted a flying lap to attempt to get behind Iannone who was just starting his out-lap.

Tire compounds and construction will continue to change. The challenge for the teams & riders is to get the best performance out of whatever tires the manufacturer make available race weekend. Track surface & condition plays a big role in the types of tires the manufacturer will provide. It's not suspect that a set of front tires that Lorenzo liked aren't available for him each and every round. That's like saying it's funny how GP doesn't race at Le Mans for every round since Lorenzo favors that track.

If Rossi was having as much trouble with the tires as Lorenzo, he would have been threatening to quit...again. These are Rossi spec tires, make no mistake. Anybody thinking otherwise is either ignorant, blind, stupid, or unaware of the ways of power.

Rossi's performance in both qual and race have been a revelation with Michelintino tires, so much so that it reminds me of a quote by Jim Lampley regarding rigged elections: "No matter how one calculates it, the discrepancy cannot be attributed to chance." You're right, the tires will continue to change, fine tuning to make them perfectly suited for Rossi. While everyone is repeating the ........ that Lorenzo is suffering from a crisis of confidence, the tire rigging, though obvious to its extreme, will continue unabashed. Partly because the GP media are chickenshit and the organizer know this, and mainly because, well MotoGP is Rossi--One in the same. Everything around it is filler. Like the CRT, created to provide you with a facade of competition.

If you live in a glass house, don't throw rocks.

Rossi has made mistakes while on Michelins, he didn't threaten to do anything but work harder. You can continue to believe in Rossi-spec tires, equipment, track surfaces, and weather all you want. It's what you do best.

A rider puts in hours and hours of work to improve in raw speed and qualifying and you ignore it all to dismiss the hard work with "oh it's just spec tires developed specifically for him... even though I have no real proof! Anyone that doesn't believe my baseless accusations is either ignorant, blind, or stupid!"

There's nothing wrong with the tires. Lorenzo had a bad start last year on Bridgestones until he lucked out with 4 straight rounds of perfect weather and track conditions. Lorenzo isn't a perfect rider, he has weaknesses and this year he got stuck in a rut with bad performances while nearly everyone else did better on the EXACT same tires.

Hell of a lap Rossi put in during qualifying... a display of raw speed. Made even better by the fact Jums can't accept it and feels threatened... so he is lashing out with hate.

No it wasn't if you actually watched it ianone pulled in behind Lorenzo on the straight after turn one, Lorenzo saw it and played his game.
I like Vudu, but let's face it, he's one of a peculiar million with a special alternate perspective. One can say it has a tinge. Lorenzo clearly looked back to see who was behind him, when he realized it was Iannone, he pulled off. This was after Lorenzo was seen looking at the screen in the garage watching riders like Rossi and Viñalez work together to give eachother tows. Lorenzo has spoken out about it. He wasn't gonna let Iannone catch a tow after he was torpedoed by the man.

What's your take on why Lorenzo clearly attempted to tuck in behind Iannone? For someone that has made it clear he hates towing, he tried to do it himself.
