Well the Dukes are back!!! Not to take anything away from Valle(champ) but he was the only one in the top four at Losail with the harder compound front tyre. Can't wait for Rd 2! I C MM fighting it out with those red things from Italy! thoughts?

First, we need to have separate threads for Practice/Quali and Race. Mods, can you make this the Quali thread?

I expect MM will not make a huge mistake in turn 1. He'll win. I also don't expect JL to have an equipment malfunction, he'll finish 2nd. After that, it's harder to predict. Rossi, Dovi, and Crazy Joe fight it out for 3rd.

I also just realized this is in the New Users section. THIS IS ALL WRONG!

Sorry Levigarrett. Just got on here and am not sure of proper procedure! Was just looking for a friendly chat about Motogp. Seems like you take things a bit too seriously for me! Id probably rather chat with someone more knowledgeable anyway. Austin has TWO massive straights suited to the dukes & Hondas (as the last two years there show) baring incident neither Yami finishes on the podium!
Call me crazy, but i would've thought an ALL IMPORTANT senior member of the forum might be a little bit more hospitable & welcoming to a newbie. But hey, maybe you've convinced everyone on this forum that you know everything!
Apologies duc. Levigarrett Just seems like an obnoxious tool!

Possibly a bit thin skinned? Levigarrett is, as far as I remember, a long term and respected poster. All he did was tell you how things work here.

Anyway, All I know is Marquez will do better than he did in Qatar...as for everything else? Well I hope it's as good a race as the last one!

Its going to be a wet race, I have been to COTA many times, and on track, no race series has run there in the rain, water pooling up might become an issue. that said I think the Ducatis will have the advantage due to the long straights. though I am expecting another good race, maybe hope to see a few of yall there.

Honda have the upperhand in top speed, straight is not an advantage for Ducati anymore, only a drawback for Yamaha.

Rossi is going to struggle a bit.
