A poster on another board posted pics of the tour he took today. Here they are:

Yeek! That RED is kinda bright!

What are they trying to do, emulate the French?
<

(That ought to piss off any resident Texans!)

I guess it's not quite as garish as Paul Ricard...

Then you're gonna LOVE the Stars & Stripes in the runoffs nearest the tower.

Its too bad these guys are such ........, cuz theyre putting together a beautiful track.

Just got interesting news re: USGP hotels. Apparently Circuit of the Americas' room-blocking contract for ~40K rooms is about to expire or has expired. Might lead to thousands of Austin area hotel rooms being released to the market at much more affordable prices.

hey fellas.

advice needed from those of you in the know.

i'm looking to buy my seats first thing tuesday morning. question is, any opinion on which seats are best?

It looks like Main Grandstand, turn 1, & turn 15 are going up for sale. so, which one? or anyone know of any way to get something better, a VIP type thing? I'm skipping the f1 race to be able to splurge a bit more for the Motogp.

thanks in advance

Also, Vance just found this...SnoozeBox working a deal for 2012 F1 USGP? I know the perfect spot!

http://www.bloomberg.com/article/2012-09-26/a.Egqtkd.75s.html

"Agreement has been reached in principle with a US entity for the provision of 240 rooms for an events tour starting with the US Formula 1 Grand Prix in Austin, Texas in mid November 2012 and finishing with the Superbowl contest inFebruary 2013. We are working 'round the clock' to identify and be able to satisfy any additional US regulatory requirements and make the necessary shipping arrangements to ensure that the units arrive in Austin on time and with the necessary operating licenses."

Of those choices I'd take Turn 15, but honestly, GA is the way to go, esp for MotoGP. The GA areas will be huge and amazing.

ok. thanks Texas. Good to know. probably a stupid question, but am i right when i assume reserved seating also grants you access to all the GA areas as well?
