Broken pelvis, both femurs, muscles and ligaments torn on the right knee, internal injuries. Critical but stable condition at the Groningen Hospital.

Damn that was brutal! this is why I don't race, the margin of error is too small. From my take, he messed up by only having one foot down while trying to walk the bike. Thats why he lost his footing and fell right into the way of the other guys bike.
 
Rolling starts don't seem too bad after seeing that ..... I could just hear him saying, .... .... .... and then wham. That was messed up right there
