Assen GP Race Thread (Contains all manner of spoilers!!!)

Hi everybody.

Great race for Hector. He has once again shown that he is just as good as the Ducati factory riders. I think he should take one of their spots next year.

Nicky Hayden needs to go back to dirt track. Rossi seems to only be there for the paycheck.

Alvaro Bautista has a history of first lap crashes, I dont know why Dorna allows dangerous riders to be in this class.



Poor Jorge. He could have just lost the championship because of Bautista. Last year Pedrosa suffered the same fate from another dumb Italian. Dorna doesnt seem to care about the well being of their riders. It makes it hard to watch a sport where riders can be taken out with no consequence and most of the fan base bleats around like sheep saying race incident. Jeez even in soccer you are penalized for breathing on someone. In this sport lives are at stake and noone seem to care.

Bautista should have been given a race suspension last year when he took out three Ducs. Maybe had that happened he wouldnt have torpedoed Lorenzo this weekend. Its like the message hadnt been impressed on his mind to be careful in first turns. Lost his brake marker behind a rider? What kind of stupid excuse was this? And then he said with a straight face, "ive never done this before in my entire career." oh really MFer? Uhm, just the last race of the previous season. Maybe if he spent less time thinking about hair dye his brain, the thing supposedly underneath his hair, might have been concentrating on using the brake lever.



Again, first lap, especially first turn incidents are way to dangerous and avoidable to accept so freely by us spectators and certainly Race Direction. I use to say they will do something about it when somebody gets killed, but i no longer believe this to be probable. Make it a mandatory race ban as a standard threat before hand, and it will happen only on rare, less rare than now. Anybody saying these are "racing incidents" are mistaken at best a ....... ..... at worst. These guys prepare, ship all their ...., unpack, assemble, teams work tirelessly in practice, sponsors invest their money, and actual humans risk their careers and lives on the line; only for some ....... or a brainfart moment to destroy it all. Again, first turn incidents are special and unique, and torpedoes of this nature should not be tolerated! For the most part, its the same ......... doing it, on occasion its just a brain fart by an otherwise decent rider. Regardless, either it be a ....... or a brainfart, penalize it harshly. Make no exceptions for darlings of the sport. Same punishment for factory riders as it is for others. These are NOT cases of the old tired lame argument that its two riders going for the same real-estate. Nor the ........ justification that its at the start and therefore chaotic bla blabla. At what point in the race is dangerous riding ok? Its turn one, so what? Calm the .... down and get through the turn cleanly.



I wrote this post not seeing the Wsbk races yet, which I will do now (before Arrabi spoils it any further).
