Well actually, it did make the telecast. He had problems with his bike, and as he was walking to his pit, the camera followed him. For a moment he turns to the side, and I could see your sponsorship sticker. So congrats, you made it to the big time. A TV camera shot courtesy of the world live feed.

I got a few comments about that! Hopefully it wasn't my gear that made his gearbox eat itself haha

Bridgestones press release: http://motomatters.c...gestone_ex.html

Summary: It wasn't our fault, it was the fault of the Assen circuit and the particular rider styles.

seen it earlier what a ....... load of bollocks in other words its the weathers fault conditions changed (well i never) and it was hot

if these circumstances happen again dont go out on track and race those tyres

Anybody have any pictures of the failed rear tires of Rossi and Spies from Assen? I can't find them anywhere, I'm sure they are out there.

I am going to do what jumkie has done elsewhere in regard to ducati and defend bridgestone at least a little. They didn't want a control tyre, have been inveigled into supplying it to the whole field for free( which probably saved dorna who were subsidising the satellite teams some money)

Not the first time this has been stated on here, but it's wrong, sorry.

Factory riders pay a fee to IRTA of around €180k/rider for 240 tyres a year. Satellite and CRT less than half that for 120 tyres/rider.
