Its been so long it seems people have forgotten there is a race this weekend. GP scheduling is abysmal. 3 weeks since last race, 3 more weeks till the next, and a month after that to the next. Anywho, Assen. Looks like we may get our first look at Michelin wets. 80% chance of rain on Sunday. Can Rossi win 2 in a row for the first time since 09? Reminder, Race is on Sunday for the first time ever!

And.. That is ...... having a two week break and then another... I gots to have my racing fix....

That's why God created Wsbk.

I think this picture on the GP site does an accurate job of illustrating the series MotoVR. Only One voice matters, everyone else is just a backdrop...

See they have changed the final chicane from grass to Tarmac. Expect more 'motocross', but depending on who does will depend on whether it's ok or not!

Yup....but Assen's got it all weekend....and possible thunderstorms on Sunday...

Good for the wet weather riders and the old Ducatis'....bad for JLo....

Old Georgie might surprise everyone...

Does anyone have details on this? All I can see is a couple of pics and some vague mumbling. How does it affect the opportunity to take a short cut to the finish line?

All you have to do s brush up against someone then cut the corner, then tell rd you couldn't make the corner safely.

What would be great would be if MM went with him this time and they both cut the corner together but MM kicked Rossi off his bike into the gravel.

Thats what happened last year with Rossi vs Marquez no?
Lorenzo even suggested that Rossi prepared for that maneuvre.
When watching replays it does seem very seemles.

I have no doubt in my mind that Rossi knew exactly what he was going to do if Marquez came up his inside. At the slightest hint of a brush, which is all it was, Rossi was headed through the gravel "under acceleration", thats what gave it away.

Delusional people in this thread thinking that Marc's torpedo on Rossi last year was just a "slight" brush. The helicopter view showed that Marc was so hot going into the chicane, had he not used Rossi's bike as a berm, he wouldn't have made the corner himself (MM actually cut the corner as well). The contact between Marc and Rossi's bike was anything but "slight".

Also delusional for anyone to think Rossi planned on taking contact from Marc at that chicane. Contact could have immediately put him on his ..., it's not something you plan on... this ain't NASCAR.

You can see Rossi's front end tuck a bit once MM made contact.
