<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MigsAngel @ Mar 12 2008, 03:58 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Dani rules the garage and HRC ways forward. Nicky has to do as well or better than the customers each time...until he gets the 2008 bike...and if he still does not perform then HRC will put him even further into the 'Biaggi Program'

HRC has a 250 rider in their sights already and his name is Dovi!
Dovi, stayed with Honda despite them giving him a dog slow 250 machine for the last 2 years, but his loyalty has and will be paid off by HRC with 2009 Repsol ride (IMO).

Are you trying to be ....... ironic or am I just reading too much into this. Honda also have another rider who stayed with them and is staying with them despite them treating him like a tool EVEN THOUGH HE DELIVERED THE CHAMPIONSHIP. You know how the story goes. I ask you where loyalty has gotten him with Honda? If Dovi was smart he would sign with someone else.

In MotoGP as in any top level sport you´re as good as your last result. And Hayden is getting the boot from HRC. And well deservedly I think, yup he won a championship in 2006. In 2007 he sucked, and this year he´s started as bad as the last one. And there´s no valid excuses for such a low level of performance.

Back on topic. Yeah Honda were obviously in deep .... if they went back to the 2007 bikes, but according to Dani they made big progress in the last week, we´ll see at Jerez a standard track how much progress there has been.

You are soooo right!

See Jumkie's response for clarity on the irony bit...

The only issue with the other loyal rider, Nicky of course, is that he did not deliver the championship or wins as early and often as he was perhaps expected to do so....Hayden is Honda's past and Dani and Dovi are its future....see Biaggi 2005 for how Nicky's 2008 will play out with HRC (crap bike and no real support from HRC)
