Given that next year *may* be Rossi's last year, I'm considering going to the Mugello race for the atmosphere. Has anyone been? Predictably any accommodation even remotely close to the track is either sold out or stupidly expensive. Given this, I'm looking into companies that offer packages eg hotel accommodation, track transfers etc. Nothing is on sale yet but was just wondering if anyone could recommend a company? I've come across a few but not sure how reputable they are

If you want atmosphere.... Camp at the track.
Buy yourself cheap disposable camping gear.
24/7 party at the circuit camping

I would.. however as a single 30yo female I unfortunately have to admit my tent setup skills are 0 haha I went camping in Africa last year and had to get the guys to set it up for me

There will be plenty of guidos to erect your tent.

Next unsolvable problem...

We did poleposition travel a while back. Flawless experience. You get yourself to the hotel then they handle everything from there. Nice big charter bus to and from the track. They'll escort you around Florence if you like. Or you can do you own thing.
Worth every penny. Traffic is insane to and from the track. Nice to just talk race stuff to the others on the climate controlled coach bus.
Great experience at that track.

How much did that run?

Thanks Steve. :)

I think it was around $1200/person. Including a very nice 4 star hotel in Florence. Grandstand Tix. Shuttle to and from the track. They'll take you out on the town at night if you want. I think a dinner or two.
Air fare not included.
But everything is just pretty much hassle free. Met a lot of nice folks. I'd do it again.
