So far I can only think of one rider that will surely podium at Indy and that would be Jorge. He deals with pressure very well and knows that he must pull his season back into the hunt for the big prize. He might not finish first but he will be on the podium.

I predict several spectacular off's. Indy has always produced a large parts bin. Dani and Jorge will need to be careful. Unfortunate since Dani has been strong here with some regularity.

Exactly !!!  Figured JL would be the safe bet since he needs to make up the most points

Lorenzo has never done well here except i think it was 2010, i doubt he will podium. Its a honda track, all about power. Ill be there, obviously i hope pedrosa wins but im going to say its a marquez pedrosa 1 2.

predictions? i'd love to be proven wrong but i'd be surprised if we witnessed a thriller.  i'm afraid that indy just isn't a track that necessarily produces good motorcycle racing.

+ jorge and dani will need to be extra careful, so i wouldn't be surprised  that if vale and marc caught up with them , they would both let them go and settle for points. the interesting question for me is whether the seamless gearbox (if it will be used..??) will bring a obvious improvement so that the yam guys don't lose as much (if anything) under acceleration

1. marquez

2. Pedrosa

3. Rossi

4. Lorenzo

5. Bradl

the rest

You guys are really going out on a limb - Marquez, Pedrosa and Lorenzo on the podium. Incredible stuff.

Predictions:

All riders are going to complain that it is a .... track. If they're European, it will cause a outrage among the yanks and Jumkie will call for their heads. If they're Yanks, it will be ignored.

A real limb walker that will not only pick the top 5 but give their finishing order. Anyone else have the nerve to give us the finishing  order of the top 3? How about the absolute winner? Remember when you choose that most think of Indy as a track that produces carnage. You need to pick a rider that won't fall down.

Dani has the history at Indy, but what stage of recovery is he. Rossi has not been particularly strong here, and George has just been solid. Marquez has dominated  Moto 2 at Indy. I will pick him for the win at Indy, with Pedro 2nd if he is close to being healthy..

Marquez

Pedro

Bradl

 Crutchlow

Rossi

Jorge

I will be there, taking my day off  today to get the bike ready for a road trip. Probably last Indy, which means last live GP for me for awhile

I surely do want to put MM up front as many of you have but I keep thinking in the back of my mind.......

Is Boy Wonder going to walk under a ladder this week?

Will Kid Demon have a black cat cross his path on the way to Indy?

What if the Wild Child loses his lucky penny?

How long can luck ride with MM?

Former greats such as King Kenny say its not luck, its great skill and I agree

Big Jorge

Cal beating the factory Yamahas after he signed for Ducati.

Aye, good one.

True Big Jorge. It is more than likely that Cal is scheduled to test yet another new Bridgestone compound made from teflon and KY jelly at the Indy race.

Yeah because he has really been putting Lorenzo to shame up until now...

Finishing order:

1. Marquez

2. Lorenzo

3. Pedrosa

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict something that nobody else dare predict.

Ben Spies wins

followed by Aleix Espargaro

Third place COLIN EDWARDS!

(of course, this is after Bautista knocks every other rider out into turn 1)

Good to see ur boycott is still in full effect.

Including Schwantz and the Legend Mr. Rainey. The "luck" part was in race direction repeatedly turning a blind eye and not suspending him for dangerous riding, in addition to having uncle Carmelo in a position to clear pesky rules that ushered him into the best seat in the house.
