<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>John McGuinness was once again the fastest man on the island as the IOM TT hit day two of practice hitting an average of more than 128mph.

The HM Plant Honda rider beat his practice time on Monday by almost 30 seconds, showing he is already remembering what the tricky 37.73-mile circuit is all about as he recorded a 17:37.09.

Hydrex Honda’s Guy Martin was 13 seconds behind McGuinness in second place with Stobart Motorsports Ian Lougher securing third in the Superbike practice lap.

Bruce Anstey was the man to beat in the Supersport category with his lap of 18:39.47.

Kawasaki man Ryan Farquhar was second, just over eight seconds behind with Ian Lougher securing another third, this time for Team Blackhorse Racing.

Anstey also headed the Superstock timesheets at the end of his lap with a time of 18:03.70, also going 125.338 in the process on his GSX-R1000.

Never understood with events like this why they dont do a webcast for those where it isnt shown on TV and flog it for a fiver? Seems like a wasted opportunity..

To be honest I thought it was a pretty obvious one, they spend so much time moaning about the lack of sponsors in racing yet they obliviously neglect potential markets. Alot of racing series need to learn to use the internet more effectively.

Its not as simple as it may seem though. The main grandstands on the island don't even get live feeds or big screens, mainly because the footage is hard to collect and oraganzize. There are about 50 bikes spread out over 37 miles and the directors job would be a nightmare, unless we were just fed the helicopter footage the entire time, which wouldn't be too exctiting.
