A guy from NC has just referred to a Californian as a "yank". It's a good thing this article is in reference to British Superbike.



I'm interested to see how Zemke does. WFR Honda is an Evo team. Zemke will not be at the sharp end, but he does have a competitive Evo bike and he will be back on a Honda SBK for the first time since 2007 (IIRC). BSB has obtained the services of another top American rider. If someone gives him an SS ride, his talents will really shine through.

Zemke will not be at the sharp end

Zemke won his class at Snetterton. And to cap off the "yank" 4th of July festivities, Hopkins won race one and podium race two (which he lead every lap except for last, a last lap incident).
