Hi there. New member as of yesterday as I went tired of rec.motrcycling.racing newsgroup.

Im 42 years, living in Norway just outside Oslo with a girlfriend and cats.

7 years ago I picked up my old interest of motorbikes and got my self a VTR1000F. Soon I had my first trackday, and before I new it I had myself a race bike. Did national racing on an amature level for four years. Did a short step in last year but finally gave up. My last "race bike" was a standard Aprilia RS250. My current street bike is another VTR1000F.

I'm a Rossi fan both for his riding skills and for his personallity. That said I find the current standigs very exciting and looking forward to the rest of the season with expectations.

Welcome to the site Babelfish. I'm pretty sure my uncle checks out that newsgroup pretty regularly, I'll have to check with him to see if it's the same. Anyways, enjoy yourself here at MotoGPForum.com.

Welcome to the site mate! Whats it like racing in Norway? Does it snow on race days?

Frosty if I had a brand new $18,000 (That`s aussie dollars) big shiny 150+ hp bike covered in expeeensive faring cringe I`d be a bit hesiatant to take it to a track, too mate.
