Here we are again....

From the start the Yamahas look strong here.
Great to see BB in top 3 in FP1, and 2 other KTMs in top 6

Looking forward to seeing how things progress in the afternoon heat...

Predictions
1) Maverick
2) Fabio
3) Miller

It didnt seem like very many teams were going for a time attack in FP2, though KTM might have found something, as well as Zarco. Seemed a few riders opeted for a hard front - medium rear combination anticipating even warmer temps on Sunday.

It does seem KTM are coming good quickly. Perhaps P. Aspagus made have made the wrong choice to go to HRC in 2021. Especially since development (engine and aerodynamics) is frozen until 2022, while concession team like KTM can make some developments in 2021. I feel HRC are in for a long 2 years if MM and Cal are able to make Honda more manageable this year.

Rins is sitting out fp3 and will be back for fp4.
Critchlow currently in 19th
Marquez currently in 16th

It’ll be interesting next year because we will have back to back data to see where KTM is. If Pol can’t match his results from this year next year we will know the KTM is in a pretty good place, if he matches then same, if he exceeds them we know KTM still have some work to do.

Pols results on a Yamaha are far worse than Zarco, Crutchlow and Quartararo. It looked like Folger was going to do better at tech 3 than Pol was as well until he left the grid.

MM doesnt finish 1 out lap in Q1 perhaps due to too much pain after all of 9 mediocre laps in FP4....if he starts tomorrow then after 10 or 12 laps he will either be nothing more than a moving chicane and score 0 to 3 points or stop before end of race (assuming he doesnt bin it).
He shouldnt be racing this weekend!

Which proves what exactly ?.

He gave it a try and made a sensible decision himself, without any need for advice from you or anyone else. The clavicle is just a strut, the humerus rather more important to the function of the arm, comprising the major structural element of same.

Extremely optimistic about Jack Miller this season. Why did Dovizioso do so bad qualifying?

If Marc isn’t racing this weekend, can he still win the Championship this season?

Brutal race.

Fabio was fabulous
Maverick could have been worse.
Rossi hard work but worth it.

On to Brno

Got to give it Valentino for that ride, in that heat at age 41. A demonstration of why MV will likely remain a nearly man as well, he just can't pass anyone who can vaguely dispute him for a place.

MM was right to be worried about FQ, which I believe prompted dominance games which have now cost him twice, a flawless race in total control again, a fully fit MM would have had his work cut out against FQ on a Yamaha on this circuit, perhaps only Yamaha engine problems can stop FQ this year now.

The problem was MV's, nothing wrong with how Rossi defended his position, MV is just not very good at passing moves even with a significant pace advantage.

True, however he did get the job done without punting Rossi off the track on the final corner.

Some can never live it down.

Rossi did well in a brutal race today. It must be painful for you. ;)

Quartararo.... darned refreshing to see such a performance from such a nice fella. I'd love to see him take home the championship. That would certainly boost his confidence and make for a great fight with M. Marquez for the future.
Not impressed by Vinales.
Bagnaia was on to a great result before his bike gave up.

Dovi has rarely been stellar in qualifying.

Cool race, nice to see Fabio win two running. Yamaha better make sure his engines stay together. Once again, Mav just can’t get the job done. If you want to be world champion you can’t be tentative like that. I’m beginning to agree with those who think he won’t ever be champion. Sorry for the Dovi fans but Mav joins him in the category of can’t win when it counts.

If Rossi didn't make a mistake, Vinales would've been third. Vinales deserved his 2nd place finish, but he wasn't good enough to overtake Rossi without having the door opened for him after a mistake.

To be fair, Rossi moved into 2nd place after a mistake by Vinales.

IMO, hell of a race by Fabio, Valentina, and Maverick. They got the job done to in really harsh conditions... especially Fabio.

Vinales overtakes Rossi on track and beats him. Everybody says Rossi great. Vinales bad.

I guess I was expecting the young, fit and happy with his situation in the team Mav to dispense with his vintage teammate in a quicker and more decisive manner. He showed after the "pass" he clearly had the pace to pull away from vr and had he pulled the pass off earlier he may have made it more interesting at the front.

I really want to like Maverick, I really do.
