Miller in support of WSBK, and Laguna in support of MotoGP. This is a great twist in the plot for 2011. I hope this brings more people into the AMA for the 2011 season. Lots of people need a ride.

Are you saying AMA will support WSBK at Miller like they do for GP at Laguna?

Yeah, here's the LINK

At the time of the Miller announcement, it looked like Laguna might be off the schedule, but AMA have managed somehow to get both for 2011.

Well hopefully they won't pull the rug again from under our feet as DMG did. We had Travi, Boots, CK, and a few others that year who went expecting to see the AMA run, remember? Then DMG said to Miller, we want more money, then Miller said FU! Then the fans got ....... Anyway, its it is true, it will be good. So will they also have WSBK supersport?

The only thing you need to know about the Miller and Laguna sagas is that Yamaha USA sponsors Laguna Seca and American Honda sponsored Miller Motorsports Park. DMG is the constant. The manufacturers are the variables. California is an important variable as well b/c they manage Laguna Seca so they'd be stupid not to push for AMA competition when all of the major production bike distributors are in California.

I will be willing to bet that they run different configurations, so the American fan wont be able to tell how slow the ASB is compared to a WSBK

That sucks,

Was looking forward to maybe seeing Moto2 and Moto125 in Laguna.

There was speculations that All 3 classes would be coming to the US and doing both circuits back to back.

I know Laguna doesn't have enough paddocks for everyone but so does Motegi and they have temporary paddock tents there to accommodate everyone.
