My one big problem with the whole broadcast is that they never give lap times and distance from leader so you are left guessing as to what is really happening.
This weekend Villopoto and Dunge were blazing thru the pack but you were never told if Dungey was actually catching Villopoto or how their times were agains't the leaders.

True with no lap times or anything. They do like to talk about how great Stewart, that is my main beef with Emig. And the whole McGrath Emig days, never took to Emig

Yea, the commentators of late have been less than spectacular, but I don't really care, I'm just glad I can watch the racing on TV and most of the time the day after the race.
As far as Emig, he was racing in my heyday and the one memory I have of him was making a pass on one of his competitors at the Red Bud round. He came in behind went into the same rut and litterly used the guy as a berm but neither were knocked out of the rut....braaaap...he comes out in first and both continue racing like mad men with him taking the win...it was awesome to watch in person. I'm pretty sure the round was Red Bud or maybe Budds Creek, don't remember who he passed....damn I getting old!

johnny look at the ticker streaming across the top of your tv screen. you'll see the times & the distance in time to the leader as they alternate every other pass.

i like emig in the booth & he does a good job. sheheen on the other hand is abit annoying & forget about rc he needs some kind of training cause he just plain sucks as an announcer.

But RC is a damn fine rider. He should stick to MX and his new gig in NASCAB
