Looks like Puig's officially lost the power struggle within the Honda garage. No longer Dani's manager,  advisor, or anything, really, Puig's new role will be to scout for new riders in that hotbed of motorbike talent, the Asia Talent Cup. While we all thought that Puig and Dani were distancing from each other, this sounds like a complete divorce.

Will this help Dani finally win a title? I'm doubtful, unless having Puig gone somehow makes Dani's collarbones stronger.

So Dani throws Puig under the orange bus after all those years.

Sounds more like Puig threw Pedro under the bus.

Nah, I knew we already discussed this, which is why I read the article twice before I figured out why exactly Honda was putting this info out today. Before, we thought Puig would remain Pedro's manager, just stay behind the scenes. Now, we know he's completely out of the picture. Not exactly earth-shattering news, but there's not much else going on in MotoGP now except for MM's nose job.
