Correct me but if I read that article right than Rea had not seen the circuit previously?

If so, then mega kudos to the guy for making the effort as it shows awesome commitment and desire when it comes to results plus bringing anything from his own bike to the team bike, plus the track knowledge would be immense in terms of head start (same as the other riders)

Exactly, WSBK has not raced there before.

I'm sure they have because I remember Bayliss and Edwards there in 2002. I think it may have been dropped shortly after they left the series for GP.

Ah, I have only been following WSBK properly since about 2008 so wasn't aware. Anyway none of the current field have raced WSBK there so
