We obviously need a gp in england, its the home of motorsports afterall. But i don't think you could justify a second british grand prix, based on the size of our country, the tracks we have available and the amount of people it could bring in.

I totally agree that we could not justify another gp in england and i believe that doningon is easily the best place for them to go in england, i was mearly stating that the size of the country should not directly affect the decision of whether or not to go there (once or twice).

I only meant it in the sense that in somewhere like spain, a southern and northern gp round will draw two almost totally different crowds, but both will be full. But in england it'd just be the same crowd as the other gp but slightly smaller becase some poeple would be satisfied with going once. Basically the travelling factor is not as large in our country because it is small

well i just never thought i'd see the day when someone was satisfied with just 1 gp in their country. your statement stunned me!

well its just that if another gp was being placed iwould consider the uk to be near the bottom of the list. realistically it'd have to be silverstone anyway, and thats rubbish. If brands was safe enough for a gp i might change my mind. But even then i would probably want it in place of donington.

You'd be suprised. I'm the same as Tom. There is no need for a second GP in Britain, and alot of Brits would agree. For me its not even the size, its the fact that a second GP would detract from the spectacle of the other imo. Better to just have one big event, for atmosphere reasons.

Hell yes! Mexico… dam it, we don´t have a great MotoGP track… Why would they have spent $50,000,000 on a track in the middle of a desert when they could put in an ‘all year long’ nice weather beautiful beach?

Did you forget Monterrey? With a few modifications, it could be a MotoGP track.

sure, suzuka needs a lot of work but imo it would be moteggi or suzuka, not both

yes a mexican gp has my vote

Yeah suzuka will never be safe enough because of the lack of run off in the places the track goes over itself. A great shame.

Remeber the F1 mess at Indy? Plus the race would just be the infield I woudl think the motogp guys are not going near those banked corners. It would be awesome to have it there I just don't think it's possible.

Barber is awesome (from what I hear) but the track is small - it's a 4 gear track for AMA.

VIR is one of the best on the east coast - but that's not saying much. It's also not close to any big city it's 230 miles from DC 100 miles Ralegh NC. There are no stands or anything - not sure how they would manage a motogp crowd.

A Canadan track would prob be best something near Montreal/ Toronto

Thanks, we’ve gotten like three or so votes for Mexico… and after seeing and recalling Losail today came to the conclusion of why there… must be “Safety first”, bloody hell, they got run off areas like a zillion tons of sand there… must be that!

What mexican tracks are there? imo i dont think there should be only one race per country, as country's with good tracks and atmosphere wound'nt be able to have more then one motogp race and that would be a bad loss for everyone.
