Cool pics. Is the blurriness for effect? Like to make it looks like they are moving?

Or just a lousy photographer. The night shots are on purpose, just playing with shutter speeds. The one of Stoner is just the way it is. He was a ....... blur to everyone that weekend

Thanks, Pov.

The night shots are cool!

Were the first batch taken from your new-found bleacher location?

Thanks, Pov.

1st pic was from from new viewing area. 2nd and 3rd from turn six i believe, 4th and 5th from back straight. The new viewing area is farther away from the track itself, but you can see last turn, [i will take binoculars next year], the front straight, and turns 1-5

This is a panoramic sequence from where we were sitting, moving around just a few feet here and there. There are so many seats, you can wonder around in the stands without pissing any one off.

Can they ride without helmets in Indy???? Sure the blur is to prevent the police from reading their number plates
<

Yes, several states allow it. Smart, eh.

I suppose it's a freedom to be able to take the risk, and the people who ride without helmets wont have too much brains for the council to mop up anyway so maybe its not too much of a bother

Nice pics Pov!

As for helmet rules, people should be able to decide what risks their willing to take with their own lives. I wear a helmet when I ride. If others elect not too, I'm ok with that. Where I live in Florida, helmet's are not required.

I am against helmet laws, but will not ride without one. With that being said, If you scramble your brains without a helmet, it should not be up to an insurance company or the state to foot the bill for your stupidity.. No helmet, no insurance coverage. How free do you want to be, make a choice.

Thats cool Pigsh.

Gentlemen, yeah, of course everybody should be free to do whatever the hell they want, but I don't think we should also foot the bill for that stupidity. I can't stand when I see fools doing so,e solo climb to nowhere or some mountain diving whatever adventure, then get stuck and all our emergency resources have to go save your dumb .... You want to helo onto a mountain and sky, you want to climb that big ....... ice cliff, you want to sail around the world in a tea cup, you want to ride without a helmet, fine, don't call us when your dumb ... in ....... Unless the state is going to come up with a no ER visit for your ... unless you can foot the bill policy, then I say have the helmet law. And while you're at it, have a proper riding shoes law too. We already have a seatbelt law and nobody is complaining about the lack of freedom about that, right?
