250cc at Misano

For me, the 250 race at Misano this year was probably one of the most intense Grand Prix races I've ever seen (right up there with Laguna Seca this year and Jerez 2005). So why has there been very little discussion about this? It seems to me that 125s and 250s don't get a whole lot of love on this forum, which is extremely disappointing to me considering that they happen to offer the most unpredictable races (alright, considering that I'm Asian, I may be biased in my love for 250cc GP racing since its the one class that a Japanese rider can actually do consistently well in).

Both Red Bull KTM riders going down, Pasini getting taken out and sliding on the gravel at 200kph, and Hector Barbera and Marco Simoncelli taking pieces out of each other (both ran off the track at the same time, twice), and by the end of the race, it was almost as if there was no one left on the track.

Totally agree with you. Great race. The Simoncelli Bautista feud was again live and well at Phillip Island, kept me on my toes the whole race.

It's funny, at the moment there isn't any Aussies in the 250 but plenty of Japanese (one Indonesian on a 5 year old Yamaha who I support just for the hell of it - they are "next door") and Europeans. I would expect more people to follow the riders through.

The 250 class is currently being "Hondaised" at present and most of us don't know if this is a good thing or not because in its current form it gives great racing. It's shame Honda have put their foot down and said no more two strokes.

Andy Roo......dont you think its amazing how the 125 and 250 class have to go? All this about having a 600cc class just makes me think what the hell is going on, cos to me i dont see a problem with the lower class, infact on most acasions you will see better racing in them then you will in Moto Class.

The lower class have given us such great riders, like the G.O.A.T , Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, and many many more great riders.
I really think EZY isnt qualified to run a Car Wash, he is killing our sport, a sport ive followed since i was 10 years old, just look at Formula 1 for an example of how to fxxk up a sport..
In the end Money talks Andy and if Honda want the class then thats what will happen.
Dont get me started on Honda i could go on all day, mabe cos the European Factories are Smarter then the Japanese (Honda) this is there way of beating them. The Honda RCV212 is an absolute joke, the 800cc rules were brought in so Hondas bike could win, and they still cant. Whats next an all Honda Grid??

I'm hearing you. Really it's about motogp being a showcase for Japanese technology so they have to go. Suxs big time.

Also be aware that you may get mixed up with #27 who is the resurrected Pinky. If you get abused for some obscure reason please bear that in mind.

Maybe you should put the words I am NOT Pinky or #27 in your signature so people make the connection that there is no connection.

Cheers
