Very disappointed they dropped Imola again. Mandalika is gone as well, leaving Phillip Island as the lone race outside of Europe.
I'll admit I've never heard of Cremona Circuit. Doesn't even have a Wikipedia article

I'm okay with this calendar. SBK isn't exactly rolling in money, and the flyaway rounds in Southeast Asia and South America were just raising costs, and probably decreasing TV money due to the time difference. Plus, the provincial government in Argentina pulled the plug on the SBK event anyway. Eurocentric calendar is good for now, and will help the series re-connect with the core fan in Europe.

It's good for SBK to have it's own stable of circuits, particularly circuits that can keep costs down, and attract fans. SBK needs to raise attendance, and then use attendance figures to push for better TV contracts. Charging premium prices at F1/GP venues will continue to keep attendance figures modest.

Balaton Ring and Cremona are decent additions to the calendar, but if they are staying in Europe, they should be racing a lot more than 12 rounds, imo. I'm sure they would need to negotiate a new contract with the teams to make it happen, but staying in Europe and running 12 rounds is a missed opportunity to increase revenue. SBK would benefit from another 3-4 rounds at European circuits. When they do get back to flyaways, they need to get back to California and Japan, asap.
