Petrucci gets a well-deserved first win at the karting track.

Bautista once again passed like 15 riders without having to outbreak a single one.

Track cameras were gone with 8 to go and the red flag came out with 6 to go. I have not been able to find any information why the race was red-flagged.

Bulega 4th in the sprint, if I'm not mistaken this ensures Toprak will still lead the championship after this weekend.

Petrucci amazingly secures the triple just a day after his first win.
Bautista finally outbreaked someone, that someone was Bulega who now has a 13 point gap to Toprak. Gerloff with an impressive 4th but miles off the Ducatis. Even in his absence we're still seeing how good Toprak is.

Hopefully he'll be back next week at Aragon.

I really enjoy how Ducati refuse to play the long game in either championship, and let their riders battle it out. Would never have floated in F1.

Same as you @JFM01, I really hope Toprak is back in the next round. Missed him.

In the WSSP, the trio at the front didn't disappoint initially. Although Huertas would have needed to remain last of the three, and behind Montella. A real shame for Yari, as he was on a good trajectory before the crash.

I like the carting track. It emphasizes rider skill, and seems to de-emphasize setup a bit. Grab the bars and make it go around corners. Only Yamaha suffered at Cremona. I guess the heavy crank and unconventional firing order hindered their acceleration. New R1M homologation on the way for 2025, IIRC.

The camera positioning could have been better. Too many low angle shots that were somewhat disorienting, and made it difficult to spatially understand the layout. Drone shots helped. The loss of communications during Race 1 was unfortunate, but that's what happens when you're putting on races in the middle of nowhere.

Petrucci was amazing. Iannone faded. Bautista did well to recover from poor qualifying. Honda did not embarrass themselves! Gerloff showed why he deserves better than a satellite Kawasaki ride, but maybe he'll get lucky and BiMota will start making an impact right away.

Come back, Toprak!

With winglets btw.

The track wasn't terrible. WSBK needs some standalone tracks but it sucks they're running this track instead of Imola.
